USE OUR CONNECTIONS FOR WHITE HAT LINK BUILDING

Semify’s White Label Link Building Program

A technically sound website filled with high-quality content is essential to any successful SEO strategy. But when developing a comprehensive marketing plan, you can’t afford to omit backlinks.

Although they’re often overlooked, backlinks are one of the things Google cares about most when evaluating websites. In fact, Google has previously confirmed that backlinks are among its algorithm’s strongest ranking signals. In other words, they matter for SEO!

And yet, many marketers are intimidated by the prospect of whitehat link building – or, worse yet, they’re quick to dismiss the substantial role that backlinks play in determining a site’s search ranking.

Admittedly, link-building can be complex and time-consuming. As an agency owner, you may not have the bandwidth to devote to building quality backlinks for your clients. That’s where we come in.

When you partner with Semify to provide white label backlinks for your clients, you’ll benefit from our team’s expertise and our company’s relationships with high-caliber website owners.

Because we follow whitehat link building practices, we prioritize quality over quantity. Thousands of spammy backlinks won’t help your clients rank – but highly relevant links from sites with real traffic and authority will.

We’ll determine the best-match opportunities for white label backlinks from our robust network of publishers, create exemplary content with organically-placed client links, and ensure that content is published in a timely manner to eliminate any possible indexing and ranking barriers.

Whitehat link building services can set your clients up for SEO success. And when your white label backlinks partner (that’s us!) has your back, you can focus on what really matters – growing your business – instead of getting bogged down in the weeds of link-building.

White Label Link Building FAQs

Why Are Backlinks So Important For SEO?

Google has confirmed that backlinks are one of the most important ranking signals in its search algorithm. That means they’re likely to have more weight in Google’s calculations that are used to determine the value of a given website.

We also know that backlinks are seen as a “thumbs up” or endorsement of sorts. When one reputable website links back to another website, Google will see that link as a vote in favor of that second website.

Since the host website is already perceived in a positive way, it’s able to pass on some of its good reputation (sometimes known as “link juice”) to the second website. When enough high-quality, highly relevant websites link to yours, Google will see your website as valuable, too.

Do Backlinks Matter More Than Content?

We wouldn’t put it that way. Businesses absolutely still need expertly written content in order to rank well in search engine results pages (SERPs). But it’ll undoubtedly be more difficult for those websites to compete in SERPs if no one else is linking back to their content.

Think of it this way: How much of an expert or authority can you really be if no one else has heard of you?

Receiving endorsements (in the form of backlinks) can ensure that Google takes notice of your client’s content and sees it as valuable. Whitehat link building services essentially strengthen the content that’s already on your client’s site by ensuring that content has additional support from websites that Google already trusts.

That said, you can’t survive based on name recognition alone; you need the credentials to back up your perceived expertise. That’s why prioritizing both backlinks (off-site SEO) and content (on-site SEO) is a must for any marketing strategy.

Don’t Backlinks Occur Naturally? Why Do I Need to Build Them?

Unless you’re building a brand new website for a client, they’ve probably received some backlinks in the past without much effort on their part. If they’ve received any level of press coverage or have established relationships with organizations in their community, their backlink profile may even contain some highly desirable links from great websites.

That said, most businesses need to make a concerted effort to build backlinks consistently. Rather than receive an influx of links following a high-profile launch or merely leaving things up to chance, it’s best to develop a plan of action that will yield quality link placement on a regular basis. Your client may also need to diversify their backlinks or improve the caliber of backlinks they’re receiving in order to give them the best chances of ranking in search engines.

Like with virtually all SEO-related tasks, the result of your backlink strategy should feel completely organic. But that doesn’t mean you can be passive about whitehat link building for your clients. If you want to set them up for success, work with a partner that can consistently acquire white label backlinks to improve how Google perceives a client’s site.

Can’t I Just Build Client Backlinks Myself?

Technically, yes! But many of our agency partners find it difficult to source the quality and quantity of publishers needed to create a diverse backlink profile for their clients. Link outreach requires a lot of research and communication, particularly if you don’t already have an established community of website owners to work with.

Because we’ve already done the legwork to create an engaged network of publishers and websites for white label SEO link building, busy agency owners can rely on us to find the best possible backlink opportunities and fulfilling those services for their clients – leaving them with more time and energy to focus on growing other areas of their business.

Aren’t Most Backlinks Spammy? What Makes a Good Backlink?

Unfortunately, backlinks have gotten a bit of a bad rap thanks to seedy SEOs. There are certainly a lot of examples of bad backlinks out there, but that doesn’t mean that all backlinks are bad.

It may help to understand Google’s goal, which is to provide useful information for web searchers. A link farm with no real purpose other than linking to thousands of other low-value websites? That’s a spammy backlink source. But a highly respected newspaper, media outlet, or well-known blog in your client’s niche? Getting a backlink from that site can do wonders for your client!

Good backlinks come from websites in a relevant category that receive real traffic and rankings of their own. We’ve created a backlink value spectrum that explains this in greater detail. But the short answer is: No, not all backlinks are spammy. Many of them can be extremely valuable for SEO. You just need a whitehat link building partner that knows how to tell the difference – and how to build the right kinds of links to benefit your clients.

Shouldn’t I Care Only About Do-Follow Links? Do No-Follow Links Even Matter?

Follow (or do-follow) links are thought to be the only ones to pass “link juice.” Because Google’s bots are, by default, instructed to “follow” those links from site A to site B, they’re generally believed to be more inherently valuable than “no-follow” links. That said, a do-follow link from a spammy site isn’t something you want!

No-follow links, on the other hand, contain an additional attribute that instructs Google’s crawlers to not “count” the link as a direct endorsement. This type of link might be used for a variety of reasons, ranging from site-wide policies to a lack of confidence in the source. But that doesn’t mean they’re bad for SEO. In fact, all organic backlink profiles are bound to contain a certain number of no-follow links. Google doesn’t count them against you – and having very few (or even zero) no-follow backlinks can be a bit of a red flag.

While you shouldn’t spend hours and hours going after no-follow links, they can be worthwhile in some cases. We believe that a no-follow link from a source like the New York Times can still provide a ton of benefits, including increased traffic and a reputation boost. There’s also some conjecture that Google may still see no-follow links from highly reputable sites as an endorsement in one way or another.

In summary, no-follow links still play an important role in whitehat link building. Although they shouldn’t be your primary focus, you shouldn’t dismiss them outright.

What’s the Difference Between Domain Authority and Domain Rating?

Domain authority (DA) is a Moz-developed scoring methodology that is used to predict how likely a website is to rank in search engine results. This methodology uses an algorithm that includes at least 40 different factors to determine the domain’s perceived search authority on a scale from 1 to 100. Domain rating (DR) is a metric developed by Ahrefs that is used to determine the strength of a website based on its backlink profile. It’s a 100-point scale that’s purely link-based, meaning that it doesn’t take any other website factors into account when evaluating a website. While these scores aren’t interchangeable, both can be used to evaluate potential sites used for whitehat link building. At Semify, we use domain rating (DR) to determine the authoritative value of websites in our publisher network. We trust Ahrefs data and use it regularly as part of strategic development. We also feel that DR provides a simpler, more streamlined way to evaluate website strength with a lower likelihood of manipulation. Read more about DA vs. DR.

What’s the Difference Between Whitehat Link Building and White Label Link Building?

Although “white hat” and “white label” may sound similar, they describe very different things in SEO.

White hat SEO refers to the practice of optimizing a website while adhering to Google’s rules and guidelines. It’s essentially the ethical choice; the aim is to provide value while connecting web users with your website. The opposite of white hat is black hat SEO, wherein bad actors try to use manipulative tactics to game the system and trick Google into rewarding low-quality sites with good rankings.

Within the context of backlinks, whitehat link building services focus on quality and relevance. When you work with a whitehat link building provider like Semify, the main objective is to create fruitful connections that help both website publishers and readers by providing valuable, relevant content and links. Rather than source as many backlinks as possible from low-quality, irrelevant sites, we focus on building fewer links that pack a bigger punch and that truly make sense for your clients.

White label SEO or white label link building services, on the other hand, are essentially a method of outsourcing your SEO fulfillment. The key difference between white labeling and other types of outsourcing is that white label backlinks and other white labeled SEO services maintain the reseller’s branding, rather than that of the outsourcing partner. By working with a white label link building agency like Semify, those backlink services are delivered through your agency. As far as the client knows, we don’t exist – and if we do, we’re just part of your team.

White label SEO link building and other services can allow you to expand your range of offerings without having to hire in-house or take on the burden yourself. You can benefit from our team’s expertise and still receive services at a wholesale rate, giving you more pricing flexibility and control. And since we take fulfillment off your plate, you’ll have more opportunities to focus on sales, client relationships, and other necessary areas needed to scale your agency.

What Sites Does Semify Use For the Placement of White Label Backlinks?

We maintain relationships with a richly diverse network of independent publishers and industry websites for white label SEO link building purposes. We have a strict publisher evaluation process that accounts for domain rating, traffic, rankings, and relevance. We also regularly add to our website network based on in-demand verticals and client-specific needs.

In many cases, these publishers retain editorial control over the content they post, which can translate to higher content relevance and a more engaged audience (two important factors in determining a website’s perceived authority and overall quality). In other instances, the Semify team is solely responsible for publication and ensuring adherence to our content quality and relevance standards.

While we do have an obligation to protect the privacy of our clients and vendor partners in accordance with white label backlinks, we’re happy to discuss more specific details about our publisher network on a call. Get in touch with our team to get started.
